Chasing football
For most of my life my focus was football. I played for Sydney United chasing a full-time career, and before COVID I had an offer to play in Germany. Then, mid-transit, I got stuck in Singapore through the lockdowns.

I kept the dream going as long as I could, training and playing in Singapore and spending five months in Serbia trying to break into the European scene. That's where reality hit. The doors stayed shut. After two years overseas I came home to Sydney feeling lost, football gone and no direction.

Starting Synora
While I worked out what came next, one thing kept standing out: plenty of good local businesses had a weak online presence, or none at all. I'd been around digital tech since completing a Bachelor of Cyber Security and Behaviour, so I could see where things were heading. That was the opening.

The early days were rough. My cold outreach was terrible. I messaged, called and turned up in person to pitch my rookie self, and copped plenty of rejection before I landed my first client. But I kept putting in the reps.

Where things are at
Three years on, I've worked with more than 100 local businesses, with 40+ five-star reviews behind them. It started with full website builds. These days I help clients with every touchpoint of their online presence, from the site to everything that supports it. I mainly work with builders and trades, building an online presence that looks the part, earns trust and helps the right clients choose you.

The setup hasn't changed since day one: one person, doing the work, talking to you directly. Football taught me the part that still matters most here: nothing happens overnight, rejection comes with the growth, and you keep showing up and putting in the reps.

Frequently asked questions.

The answers you're looking for.
How much does a website cost?
Plus icon
It depends on the size of the site and what you need, but you get a fixed price up front before any work starts, so there are no surprises halfway through. The 15-minute call is where I scope it and give you a number.
How long does it take?
Plus icon
Most sites take 3 to 4 weeks from the first call to going live. The exact timing depends on how quickly you give feedback and information at each review. I give you a clear timeline at the start and stick to it.
Do you write the words, or do I have to?
Plus icon
I write the copy. You know your jobs better than anyone, so I ask you the right questions, then turn your answers into clear writing that sounds like you and speaks directly to the clients and work you want to attract. You don't have to sit down and write the site yourself, and it won't read like a marketing agency wrote it.
I'm flat out on site. How much do you need from me?
Plus icon
Not much. A call to start, your project photos, and a bit of feedback along the way. I handle the design, the writing, the build and the technical setup, so it doesn't become another job on your list.
Can I add new project photos as I finish jobs?
Plus icon
Yes. Send the photos and details through and I add the new project to your site for you. You don't have to log in or touch anything, I take care of it.
Do you only build websites?
Plus icon
The website is the core, but I help with the whole online presence: branding, capability statements, SEO and local search. If a builder needs the lot, I can do the lot
