DASC Build

A Shire builder whose reputation now sees them called across to the Northshore for projects.

DASC Build had the project quality, the on-site capability and a well-run Instagram, but no structured website to bring the business together. The goal was a site that could hold the projects, explain the services, introduce the team and give someone enough to go on before they made contact.

The Problem

Strong project work with no central place to see it.

DASC Build delivers residential builds, renovations, carpentry and commercial fit-outs across Sydney, and the Instagram account does a good job of showing what the team is up to week to week.

What a grid can't do is let someone follow a project from start to finish, compare a finished job to their own place, or find out much about the people running the business. That's the part people want before committing to a renovation.

There was also a reach question. Word of mouth moves through a network, and a network is geographic. A builder known in the Shire gets recommended in the Shire. Someone on the north side planning a bathroom renovation was never going to be in that network.

The Solution

A site built around projects, services and the team.

We built a website with dedicated sections for Projects, Services, About and Our Team. The project gallery became the centre of the site, giving someone a clear way to review completed work and understand what DASC takes on.

Team content was added because on a renovation the client is choosing people as much as a business. Services were organised clearly and the design kept clean so the work stays central.

Local search work put the site in front of people looking for a builder, alongside the audience already following along.

The Result

Enquiries from outside the referral network.

A third of the enquiries since launch came from outside the Shire, from the lower north shore across to the inner city and out to Macarthur. One was from a homeowner living overseas, planning to start once they'd moved back and their tenants had vacated. Another had bought further west and asked outright if DASC would take a job that far out.

The scope runs from a single ensuite to a second storey addition with an extra bathroom and two bedrooms, and a full apartment renovation covering two bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, flooring, joinery and electrical.

They arrive with detail. Start dates. Access constraints. Tenants vacating. One had already been quoted by another builder and wanted a second opinion.

One enquiry described the whole process without meaning to. They'd been recommended by a friend, checked the Instagram, then got in touch through the site.
